Happy Easter!

Easter will be celebrated next week all around the world. But traditions are very different from one country to another. In United Kingdom children decorate Easter eggs and they get Easter chocolate eggs from the Easter Bunny. It's a time to celebrate spring and have fun :o)

Robocup Junior

Last week we read a text in 1º ESO about this worldwide competition called Robocup Junior.

Children from Primary to secondary Education participate in this international league. They make their own robots at school and compete in three different categories: football, dance and rescue.


This year the students wil go to Mexico from Monday 18th through Sunday 24th June. Check this video with some of the robots from 2009 in Austria, they are fantastic!

Can you skateboard? Well, I can't.


Modal verbs are very easy. We use "can" to say what we can or we can't do now, and "could" for the past simple. To talk about rules we use "must" and to give advice we use "should". Here you have some useful links to practice.
